About our manufacturing facility

Universal Quartz & Natural Stone Pvt. Ltd. operates a purpose-built quartz manufacturing facility in Jaipur, Rajasthan — India’s natural stone heartland. Our production process combines high-pressure vibro-compression technology with precision mixing to produce engineered quartz slabs that are uniform in density, non-porous, and resistant to staining, scratching, and heat.

What sets our manufacturing apart is our use of Christobalite — a high-performance crystalline silica form that improves slab strength and dimensional stability compared to standard quartz formulations. Every batch passes multi-stage quality checks before leaving the factory floor.

Our facility serves a diverse client base: residential developers, commercial interior contractors, kitchen studios, hospitality groups, and B2B distributors who re-supply across India and abroad.

Why Jaipur, Rajasthan?

Rajasthan is the natural stone capital of India — home to the largest concentration of stone quarrying, processing, and manufacturing activity in the country. Proximity to raw material sources, a deep pool of skilled stone craftsmen, and decades of export infrastructure make Jaipur the natural base for a world-class quartz manufacturer.

Universal Quartz has been embedded in this ecosystem for over three decades, with direct access to raw mineral inputs, a Jaipur-based production facility, and logistics connectivity for pan-India distribution and international shipping.

Certifications & quality standards

For procurement teams and project specifiers, certifications aren’t a formality — they’re evidence of process control and product safety. Universal Quartz holds five internationally recognised certifications covering quality management, structural safety, indoor air quality, food safety, and sustainable building.

Quality management
ISO 9001:2015
Verifies our end-to-end quality management system — from raw material sourcing to final slab dispatch. Internationally recognised standard for consistent manufacturing processes.
European compliance
CE Marking
CE certification confirms our products meet the structural and safety requirements of the European Economic Area — essential for export projects and globally specified construction work.
Indoor air quality
GREENGUARD
Certifies that our quartz surfaces emit low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), making them suitable for interiors in schools, hospitals, and sensitive environments.
Food safety
NSF Certification
NSF-certified surfaces are verified safe for direct food contact. Critical for kitchen countertop applications in residential and commercial catering environments.
Sustainable construction
Green Building
Our products qualify for use in Green Building rated projects, supporting LEED and similar green construction point scoring for architects and developers.

FAQs for buyers and sourcing teams

What is the minimum order quantity for quartz slabs?
We work with both project-specific orders and ongoing trade supply arrangements. Minimum order quantities vary by series and slab size. Contact our sales team at info@universalquartz.in with your project requirements for a tailored quote.
Are product samples available before placing a bulk order?
Yes. We dispatch 30×30 cm sample slabs for material and colour approval. Sample requests can be made through our contact page or by calling +91 92160 14223. Lead time for sample dispatch is typically 3–5 working days from our Jaipur facility.
What are the standard slab sizes and thicknesses available?
Universal Quartz manufactures slabs in standard sizes suitable for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, flooring, and wall cladding. Thicknesses of 12mm, 18mm, and 20mm are available across most series. Custom dimensions can be discussed based on project requirements and order volumes.
Do you supply to international buyers and export markets?
Yes. Universal Quartz has documented export activity and holds CE certification, which is required for projects in Europe and many international markets. We can provide full export documentation, product datasheets, and logistics support for international orders. Reach out to discuss your country-specific requirements.
What certifications do your quartz products carry?
Our products are certified under ISO 9001:2015 (quality management), CE (European structural safety compliance), GREENGUARD (low VOC indoor air quality), NSF (food contact safety), and Green Building standards. Certification documentation is available on request for project tender submissions. View all certifications →
What is the difference between engineered quartz and natural quartz stone?
Engineered quartz (what we manufacture) is composed of approximately 90–93% crushed natural quartz aggregate bound with polymer resins and pigments. Unlike natural quartz stone, engineered slabs are non-porous, do not require sealing, and are produced in consistent dimensions and colours. They offer the aesthetic of natural stone with superior hygiene and durability properties.
What is Christobalite and why does Universal Quartz use it?
Christobalite is a high-performance crystalline form of silica used in our manufacturing process. It improves the dimensional stability and structural strength of our quartz slabs compared to standard quartz formulations, resulting in surfaces that are more resistant to thermal shock and mechanical stress.
